1. Branch Operations Manager - Full Time

We are currently seeking an experienced Branch Operations Manager to join our team.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining an efficient and productive operation ensuring outcomes are delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • Coordination of all vehicle repairs and scheduled maintenance, ensuring vehicles are in a safe working order
  • Monitor & oversee the implementation and continued usage of service technologies
  • Provide exceptional leadership and direction to the Tamworth team of employees and subcontractors, ensuring KPIs are met and exceeded
  • Ensure compliance with safety obligations under Freight Specialists policies, procedures, customer requirements and legislative obligations
  • Actively promote the Company brand and seek out and secure potential new customers that meets the Company’s model
  • Previous experience in Transport and Warehousing management role
  • You will be a service and profit driven individual
  • Highly motivated with the drive and passion to succeed with a strong focus on Safety & Compliance
  • Ability to effectively manage exposure to a large network operations
  • Have an understanding of PUD activities
  • Understanding of COR and the transportation of dangerous goods

2. Local HR Driver - Full Time

We are currently seeking an experienced HR licenced driver to join our team located in Sandgate.
  • Local deliveries / pick-ups
  • Accurate reporting on driver runsheet / handheld device
  • Accurate pallet count and pre-start checks on equipment
  • Promoting and ensuring all operations are conducted in compliance with Chain of Responsibility and the Australian Dangerous Goods Code 
  • Current HR heavy vehicle licence and Forklift licence with previous transport and driving experience 
  • Possess a strong work ethic, be reliable and efficient
  • Excellent attention to detail as well as possessing the strength for physical labour

3. Transport Supervisor - Full Time

We are currently seeking an experienced Transport Supervisor to join our team located in Eagle Farm, Brisbane.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining an efficient and productive operation ensuring outcomes are delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • Provide exceptional leadership and direction to a small team of employees and subcontractors, ensuring KPIs are met and exceeded
  • Ensure compliance with safety obligations under Freight Specialists policies, procedures, customer requirements and legislative obligations
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a transport operations environment 
  • Extensive leadership experience and the ability to confidently lead a team 
  • Performance and profit driven with strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Drive a strong safety culture on-site every day and hold a solid knowledge of WH&S, Dangerous Goods (preferred) and Chain of Responsibility obligations
